Sri Lanka, the “Pearl of the Indian Ocean” is an exotic island nation located 20 miles off the Indian Coast. For some perspective, it is ¼ the size of the State of Colorado. As for the history and culture, Sri Lanka has been under Portuguese, Dutch, and British rule making it an overly eclectic society.
The cooking of Sri Lanka is comprised of exotic flavors. Due to the influences of the many international customs, Sri Lankan consists of Indian, Portuguese, Dutch, Chinese, and Malaysian flavors. Sri Lankan curry is known around the world as a unique curry. Perhaps different from any other curry you have tasted.
Lana Hillstrom, a native of Sri Lanka, has been in the United States since childhood. Lana’s mission is to provide the tastiest food, at affordable prices, while keeping the highest regard to quality service.
